Alaska Commercial Fishing Jobs Calendar

This calendar will give you a general idea of the dates of the various Alaska's commercial fisheries. In general companies and skippers start hiring three to six months before the season begins. Because each company and skipper has its own hiring schedule, hiring usually takes place all the way up to the beginning of the fishing season. There are also usually a number of job openings during the fishing seasons due to normal turnover.

The dates we use are approximate, so please use this calendar only as a general guide.
